Candylab – Welcome To Cachetown

The Project

The team at Candylab came to us for help in creating a branded content video to promote their new GPS based augmented reality app called Cachetown. Which it turns out is a fancy way to play virtual reality games! But in all actuality, games are just the tip of the iceberg, and the potential applications of this new technology are amazing. This video would serve as the centerpiece for their presentation at DEMO, an event where they would be pitching their technology to a room full of tech industry investors, so we knew we had to make a splash.

The Approach

Our concept focused on highlighting the industry leading technology behind the app with a video that welcomes viewers to Cachetown, a place where reality and virtual reality meet in an interactive world full of games prizes. In our video we were able to explore the current applications of the technology, and present some imaginative future uses to help keep the viewing audience always looking ahead at the potential of this exciting new tech.
